Ik moet voor Japans conversatie een discussie bedenken waar echt mensen voor en tegen kunnen zijn. Dus ik heb iets gekozen waar iedereen wel een mening over kan hebben, Anime. Ik heb hem in het Engels getypt, omdat ik hem nog in het Japans moet vertalen. Ik vind het best wel goed gelukt eigenlijk. XD

Het is trouwens niet werkelijke mijn mening, maar ik moest een standpunt op iets nemen. XD

My theme is: Anime should be forbidden!

I think everybody here knows what Anime is. The most famous ones are Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Gundam etc. Since the anime Dragonball Z and Pokemon was shown in the Western countries during the 90s, Anime became also popular here. Now there are animeconventions everywhere in the world, where a lot of people cosplay in their favourite characters. THIS SHOULD BE FORBIDDEN! I shall explain my reasons:
1)   Do you know what an Otaku is? Those are people who’s so into anime that they think like an anime character, never comes out of their homes, only to animestores in Akihabara to buy anime, figures etc. and worships the female seiyuu. Those people are a disgrace to Japan. They are no help for the Japanese society at all and most of the times they stink of sweat. This year I was in Japan for vacation and my friends wanted to go to Comiket, the biggest doujinshi convention (doujinshi are fanmade manga) of Japan. I waited hours in the line for the entrance and when I finally got there the whole convention was filled with stinking Otaku’s!
2)   Because of Anime the whole world gets a wrong image of Japan. Many foreigners think that Japan is some strange highly advanced countries with only cute Japanese girls who talks like the characters in Anime do: “Kya! Kya! Quu Quu! Kawaii Kawaii!” And the foreigners even adapt those way of speaking by putting “Kawaii!” in each of their sentence.
3)   What’s up with Moe? Moe is a genre in the Anime where a lot of cute little girls play the leading roles. Moe is overwhelming with cuteness, a lot of older men are fan of this genre. They fill their homes with Moe figures and posters. When they see cute girls walking through the street they’ll scream Moe!! Not only guys, but there are also girls who likes Moe, talks like Moe, dresses up like Moe. Isn’t this a mild form of Childporn?
4)   Also, when you talk about Japan to a foreigner who doesn’t know anything about that country, they automatically say: Oh! That’s the country of Sushi, Cool Gadgets and Hentai! They think Japan is oooooneee big Hentai-land where sex is not a taboo and everybody watches animated sexmovies while eating popcorn.

So, to pure Japan from this madness, Anime must be banned! Foreign countries must erase the term Anime out of their heads and understand that Japan isn’t the ultimate Anime-land (excluding Akihabara), but that Japan is a richly cultured country with a traditional history. Also, if anime was to be banned, all those otaku’s and cosplayers will return to the real society and helps the recovery of the demographic ageing Japan.

Or the otaku would rebel against the goverment, Rape the little childeren instead of fapping on the cartoons or commit even more mass suicide by overwhelming stress. What makes you think that these people who have lived behind walls will suddenly go out and help recover the demographic ageing japan?.

If you really want to take out this whole problem you shouldn't just be looking at the anime. But movies and Games aswell or any sort of fantasy worlds.

what about other people's hobby's like my grandpa loves toy trains. He has a large collection of it and sunday on his only free day of the week (74 years old) he dresses up as a trainengineer and plays with his trainsets and his build small little world and relaxes. Shouldn't this also be forbidden? isn't he living in a fantasy world? (blegh naderhand niet zo'n goed voorbeeld )

Also almost 50% of the japanese community watch anime atleast once a week are these people all otaku? and if so wouldn't you be taking there time to relax and enjoyment aswell?
